Our mountain top dome is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life. It's only 25 minutes from downtown Asheville. Enjoy breathtaking views in a personal and serene retreat just minutes from Mars Hill. Sit out on the large deck and catch all the sunsets and sunrises you desire. Enjoy a stocked kitchen, lux bathroom and a dome featuring a private hot tub, grill, hammock, outdoor shower, & cozy outdoor furniture. Rejuvenate while enjoying our 17 acres of land surrounding the dome.

This mountain top dome is all about creating lasting memories. Come breath in clean mountain air. Sleep under the stars in a luxurious king size bed, soak all your worries away in the hot tub, enjoy a cup of coffee each morning watching the sun rise or a glass of wine each night as the sun sets. We offer a fully stocked kitchen. The bathroom is functional with hot water and conventional flushing toilet.

Nestled among the mountain top, the Geodesic Dome has a deck with a hot tub, fire pit, grill, outdoor shower and a built in hammock for relaxation.

The dome is approximately 10 minutes to our small town, Mars Hill. They have small local shops, restaurants, and grocery store. The dome is also located 30 mins from Hatley Pointe Ski Resort.

Whether reading, napping, relaxing under the stars, or enjoying nature on outdoor furniture or in the hot tub after hiking, you might spot birds and deer. There are also horses and goats on the farm that you can pet.

The Geodesic Dome itself is a cozy retreat and includes a kitchen, a bathroom a working/dining area, and a comfy sleeping space with high-speed wifi for entertainment. Enjoy a coffee and tea bar, along with the essential shampoos and soaps provided for your convenience.

This dome is a private airbnb. You’ll have access to the entire structure and it's amenities.

You have approximately 10 acres available to you for exploring. We have a few horses and goats, who loved to be fed and have interaction with people.

We usually respond on the app within minutes but we're also accessible on our cell phones 24/7 for calls or text.

Our dome was not effected by hurricane Helene. It has well water and electricity. Hot tub is also working.


HEATING/COOLING:The dome does have a mini-split and electric fireplaces as well as an insulated liner. However, it is not insulated like a house would be and does not heat and cool like a traditional dwelling. Please plan accordingly and bring warm clothing in the winter, and an open mind during the middle of the day in the summer (go outside and play- rest assured, it will cool down for a wonderful sleep at night!).

STEEP MOUNTAIN DRIVEWAY: Please note that the the first 75 feet of the driveway is concrete but it is very steep. The rest of the driveway to the dome is a gravel mountain road. We recomend an AWD or a FWD vehicle. A slower and steady climb up the hill is best (10 MPH and keep going, don't stop) If a neighbor is coming down, they know to pull off and let others come up before they go down! Please also abide by this policy to keep everyone safe.

We have one outlet outside that the hot tub is connected to. Please do not bring an electric vehicle to be charged. The outlet can not support the hot tub and a car.

Absolutely NO PETS. We take this very seriously as some guest have pet allergies and we respect that. We understand that most pets are house trained, but the dome is not set up for pets. If they were to damage the dome cover it would be very expensive to repair. There will be a $500 fine and you will be asked to leave the property if you bring one.

This is a couples only retreat. It is not suitable for children.

The outdoor shower will not be operational during the colder winter months due to freezing. Usually Dec- March but could change depending on the weather.

We do provide charcoal and fire startersl but we do not provide lighter fluid.

The hot tub is open year round.

At 2500 ft elevation, we get really high winds in the winter and fall. You may not be able to use the firepit due to this, so please just be aware that this is out of our control. Only burn the wood provided for the firepit. Do not start the fire with cardboard or paper because the ashes could blow onto the deck or the dome.

For safety and security purposes the hot tub and most of the outdoor area(excluding the outdoor shower) is monitored by a camera. It is approximately 100 feet away from the hot tub and deck area.
